Lyrical Landscapes: Poetic Dreams of Radiant Tomorrow
The overview of this project was to create a poster series of three poets using color, type, and image.
Manipulating the type and effectively illustrating the imagery of each poet's work.

After the research, began free playing with the type. Experimented with printed type and different materials
to create an unique looking type. Crumbled paper, cut paper in different ways, and used glass to create distorted
funky text. Then transferred them to Adobe Photoshop and edited them.

For this poster series, used free play to show the struggles that these three poets deal with and
how they rediscovered themselves. To create the circles of text, a glass cup was placed over each poet’s quote
to create a distorted text “bubble.” Then took quotes from each poet and in Photoshop, distorted the
text then twirled them to create these paths of words throughout the background.
